Frequently Asked
Questions
What will my jewelry look like?
The color of your roses may not be the end color when the roses are dried and formed into beads. The drying process results in the color of the roses to darken naturally. Depending on if the florist has dyed the roses, the result can be quite different. It is not uncommon for bright red roses to yield burgundy or even purple beads. If a specific color is required, please note it at the time of your order. Otherwise, we will allow the natural color of your roses to come through in the process. Please allow for slight variations to occur with each bead. These variations make each keepsake unique and add to its beauty for generations to enjoy and cherish.
Do you only accept roses?
Any flower or plant can be used, not only roses.
How many flowers should I send?
When more flowers are received than needed, the extra flowers can be stored for up to one year and then discarded or returned with your keepsake delivery.
How do I dry flowers for shipment?
Hang the flowers upside down until they are dry. The fresher the flowers are when they are hung to dry, the more color will be preserved in the process. You can send the whole flower, including leaves or stems. If you desire, leaves can also be incorporated into beads. A green bead will result. Dried flower petals may be enclosed in a zip lock bag or other container.
